TANIA NARANJO’s music is of a theater of emotions. Tania grew up in Santiago, Chile. Early on she came in contact with, and developed a strong passion for, Classical piano and Chilean folk music. Considered on of Europe’s most versatile concertpianists and singer she has been touring in Scandinavia and perfomed in International Festivals all over the world in solo concerts, with symphony orchestras and with her own constellations. In Tania’s compositions and her musical expression there is room for a driving rhythm along with creativity and improvisation which can be heard i.e. on her solo album “La industria del miedo “ (with poetry by her brother Pablo Salvador N.G.) . Her music is inspired by jazz, Argentine tango, 20th century modern composers and urban Chilean music along with Andean folk music.

Tania composes rhythmic beautiful music and its known for her warm charisma, intense feeling, genuine playfulness and joy of singing. She is a performer who accentuates with a liberal and yet powerful playfulness. She plays herself straight into the hearts of the audience.

Tania has performed her own music at the official visit of Chiles President-Michelle Bachelet in Sweden 2016. She was also invited to perform a solo concert at “Salón de honor” (Chiles National Congress) Recorded by TV Senado. Other important ocations include solo performance for Swedens Premier Minister Göran Persson and his stabb in 2005. Live at Swedish National Television.
Tania was Artist in Residence at Circolo Scandinavo di Roma 2016 in Italy. She has been artistic director of experimental music projects like “Orange Tech & Latin Ensemble”, “VIOLETA PARRA 100 years TRIBUTE” and for “Piano unlimited” 2018.
